Donna L. Hayden: 35 years
First ½û·¬¶¯Âþ job: My first job as a UT Southwestern employee was Accountant II.
Best part about my job: It’s my team of co-workers in Hospital Finance. We have worked together for many years, and they are like family. It’s wonderful to be part of such a great group. I appreciate their support, collaboration, and friendship.
How co-workers describe me: A good team member and friend.
Best ½û·¬¶¯Âþ memories: Good times spent with my co-workers. I remember our fun holiday celebrations, working late nights together, and our Zoom parties and chats while working from home. I won’t forget how everyone at ½û·¬¶¯Âþ helped each other and the community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
My proudest ½û·¬¶¯Âþ accomplishment: I am most proud of successfully completing 35 years of service. It is an honor to work at ½û·¬¶¯Âþ. I am proud to have been part of important growth and changes that have occurred here at ½û·¬¶¯Âþ during my years of service.
I’m really good at: I am good at creative and artistic things. I love accounting because I enjoy organizing details and keeping things in balance.
Hobbies: I have recently been reading and listening to a lot of audiobooks. Mysteries are my favorite. I also enjoy spending time with my sisters and my four cats. It’s been fun to help one of my sisters with some decorating projects around her house the past few years.
